Photography Books for some Inspiration by Thomas Groves

Time for some inspiration! I am always looking for some great books to read and be inspired. There are so many amazing photography books out there and it can be overwhelming to start! Here are just a few I can recommend to read.

Contemporary photography in Asia; A few of them : contemporary photography; Noovo 4; A history of photography from 1839 to the present; Annie Leibovitz at work; Slightly out of focus: Robert Capa; Testament: Chris Hondros; That tree : an iPhone photo journal documenting a year in the life of a lonely bur oak; The iconic photographs: Steve McCurry; World Press Photo 2017; World Press Photo 2018

Potholes by Thomas Groves

Potholes: An amateur photographer's journey through New York and Manhattan during the 1970's. This book was a pleasure to work on, again working with the talented David Howell. The cover and layout are of my design. While the photographs are from David Howell I spent months scanning and correcting these images from colour slides. The book is a great historical record of New York and Manhattan during the 1970s.
